You’ve likely heard that Unlocking The Truth recently signed a recording contract with Sony that is potentially worth $1.8 million. That sum is of course contingent on some lofty sales goals. The groups manager Alan Sacks has now told Rollingstone.com that the young outfit’s future plans include studio time immediately following their run on the ‘Vans Warped Tour‘.
Music has already been written for the effort and the band have hired an as-yet unannounced producer who according to Sacks is a “major guy in the genre.” A studio version of the bands track “Monster” may surface before the summers end and a book and full-length documentary are also in the works.
According to Sacks, Metallica also personally reached out to the band to get them booked on this years ‘Heavy Montreal‘ festival.
