Metallica‘s first-ever headlining appearance at the ‘Glastonbury‘ festival took place last night and despite the controversy, the band had some fun doing it. So much so that they played up the negativity surrounding their appearance with a commemorative shirt (see below) laced with some of the more disparaging quotes regarding their booking. Furthermore, the group played the following special opening video for the set as well that tackled the petition to have the band removed from the bill (see the link above) for frontman/guitarist James Hetfield‘s narration of Kodiak brown bear hunting series, “The Hunt“.
