Dog Fashion Disco have a music video shoot set for July 23rd in Baltimore, MD. The group’s camp released the following clip to give the vibe of the shoot and are looking for extras to appear in it. The unspecified director of the upcoming video said of that:
“Hey DFD fans! DFD is shooting a music video in Baltimore on July 23rd and is looking to cast extras! We want you to be a part of this!
The video will have a vibe of 1950s/1960s Rat Pack. Check out the original Oceans Eleven with Frank Sinatra to get an idea.
We’re looking for couples which is preferred, but individuals will work as well, and we will pair up those who come alone.
We don’t care what you look like. For instance if you are a minotaur or cyclops that’s fine, but dress code is required because of the vibe we are going for so no exceptions please. If you show up not looking the part you will not be allowed to participate.
Men: black suit, white shirt, tie. If you own a shark skin suit wear that, Bada Bing! No tuxes though. Dress shoes only please, and go visit someone with a shine box to polish them hoofs!
Women: evening gown, prom dresses acceptable. Gown color cannot be red or black. Light colors only, pastels preferred. Heels or other forms of shoes to go with the gown is fine, but no boots. Fake or real diamond earrings, necklaces. Think old Hollywood glamor, not Lindsey Lohan.
Looking for high energy people as part of the involvement that will require some dancing for a scene or two, but two left feet are fine with us. Think Soul Train line dancing and you’ll get the idea.Hamming it up during certain scenes when asked to do so will be welcomed. We welcome comedic over exaggerated emotions for certain scenes, so if you have this type of personality we love you. This shoot definitely won’t be a good fit for someone who is very shy.
No alcohol allowed, so if you show up drunk or are caught bringing alcohol or drugs to the location you will be asked to leave. This is for insurance reasons and there are no exceptions. We’ll drink afterwards. Cool? Cool.
No video or recording devices of any kind is allowed while on set so please keep the cell phones in the pocket 😉
Plan on an early morning arrival around 9:30-10am, we will check everyone in, and you will need to sign off on a release form to participate.
We are asking that you arrive dressed the part, and ready to shoot as we are on a tight schedule and have a lot to film. Ladies will have a chance to freshen up their make up and hair though so no worries if it’s raining outside.
Catering will be provided later in the day at the mid point around 1 or 2p so it’s best to eat before you arrive. Water will be available all day and potty breaks.
Location of the shoot will be provided on July 22nd via email in the afternoon, so if you are coming out of town plan accordingly as doors will be shut once we check in the last person in line. 11am we begin filming.

The clip will be a “high budget” video funded by the excess donations made to the group’s crowdfunding campaign for their new album “Sweet Nothings“, out July 22nd. That campaign fetched them an impressive $85,122.
