Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor was in attendance at the recent MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit that paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne earlier this week. Front Row Live Entertainment were on hand (see below) and asked Taylor about the new Slipknot album, to which he had to offer:
“Album is coming along, I actually left the studio to come right down here. So it’s a matter of time trust me, it’s gonna be rad. It’s good ya know? That’s all I can really say, ya know? Everything is going exactly how it needs to go, so, it’s gonna be awesome.”
“The good thing is that we’ve all been writing so there’s a ton of stuff that we’re pretty stoked on. It’s… It’s exactly what you want it to be.”
He also mentioned that the band plan to tour later in the year, with a number of unconfirmed plans being finalized. The news of the group planning to hit the road shouldn’t come as much of a surprise given their ‘Knotfest‘ plans.
