Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett is among the guests featured on a new benefit album titled “The Gay Nineties Old Tyme Music: Daisy Bell“. The effort was conceived by painter Mark Ryden, who has also roped in Katy Perry, Tyler The Creator, Weird Al Yankovic, Danny Elfman and more for the project.
The outing apparently finds the musicians each covering the 1892 track “Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built for Two)” and is limited to 999 copies. The record is going for $99.99 a pop and will benefit Little Kids Rock. For more on that, head to Hollywoodreporter.com.
