Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor will be in the hot seat as the subject of ‘The Monster Energy Roast On The Range” this May. Taylor is due to be roasted by comedians and musicians alike at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, OH on May 15th.
Sebastian Bach will be the roastmaster for the event, with comedians Jim Florentine, Don Jamieson, Craig Gass and Brian Posehn all scheduled to take a crack at Taylor. His Slipknot bandmate M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and his wife Pearl Aday; plus Finesse Mitchell and Jose Mangin (as the official DJ) will also be there to lampoon the singer.
Taylor said of his coming verbal drubbing:
“Honestly, I don’t know what to say. I’m a little nervous, a little excited, and of course a little gassy. But that could just be the excitement. I’m really looking forward to it, but knowing my friends and the possibilities for who could be a part of this, I have no idea what I’m getting into!”
