Ice-T has revealed via his official podcast ‘Final Level‘ that his band Body Count will be performing on at least some of the dates of this years ‘Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival‘.
“Body Count is booking summer tours right now, right now we’re gonna be on a couple of dates on the ‘Metal Mayhem’ tour, run by Kevin Lyman. They’re finding dates, we’re gonna try to knock out as many dates as we can in the 2-3 month hiatus I have this summer.
So we will be playing in the states. The album will be wrapped up very soon, it’s being mixed right now. Get ready, we got videos planned, we got a special thing for the album, for the videos we’re gonna talk about later. A special way that we’re going to involve the fans in creating some of the Body Count videos for this album.”

Dates for the 2014 edition of the ‘Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival‘ were announced earlier today and can be found here. Korn and Avenged Sevenfold are among those highly rumored for the trek.
