A coming documentary on the Erie, PA hardcore scene titled “Lake Effect In Effect” will be released later this year on Down For Anything Records. Filmmaker Tommy Shannon has been spearheading the project, which will showcase the early years of the scene that birthed the likes of Brother’s keeper, xDisciplex AD, Shockwave and more.
An accompanying compilation album will be packaged with the DVD and a track from it was released yesterday. It finds Between The Buried And Me bassist Dan Briggs handling both the guitar and bass with, vocals from Cassie Staub (Run, Forever/Blood Red) and AJ Borish (Path Of Misery) on drums.
The trio contribute a cover of Brother’s Keeper‘s “4.0 (In Egomania)” and you can find it and a trailer for the DVD below:
