It looks as though Blake Judd‘s decision to put Nachtmystium to rest has had some lingering consequences. In particular, the group still don’t have an official release date for their coming final album, “The World We Left Behind“, due to “post-dissolution business.” A message posted on Nachtmystium‘s Facebook earlier today (January 13th) reads:
“Nachtmystium is no more as of November 13th, 2013. However, the band did record a final full-length studio album in July and August,2013 entitled (appropriately) “The World We Left Behind“.
This swansong LP will serve as the bands epitaph and last rites at the end of a 14 year voyage of chaos, ascension from obscurity to places the band never expected to go, amazing highs and crippling lows…all by the books a very true story of a real rock and roll band.
The good, the bad and the ugly…this band was a living beast that saw and lived through all of it. We leave you now with a final teaser track from the aforementioned swansong album ( coming in spring / summer 2014 on Century Media worldwide) called “Voyager“. This will be the only news from the managing parties dealing with the bands post-dissolution business until a confirmed release date is ready to be announced. Until then….”
