Mogwai‘s new album “Rave Tapes” has been given a January 21st (January 20th in the bands native UK) release date via Rock Action Records/Sub Pop. The band tracked the outing with producer Paul Savage once again behind the boards in Glasgow, Scotland earlier this year.
A track from it titled “Remurdered” is streaming online below. Along with standard CD, LP and digital releases, a limited edition box set version of the album is being prepared. It will feature the LP, an exclusive 12″, a book of photography taken by Steve Gullick during the albums sessions, a number of 12″x12″ art prints, a 7″ and a CD version of the album.
