It turns out Gwar front-thing Oderus Urungus‘ recent talk of a covers album to go along with their 30th anniversary next year was more wishful thinking than actual plans. Urungus spoke on that via his Twitter yesterday, September 20th:
“I mouthed off about a covers album, but it was pure conjecture on my part…it is a project we would like to explore but are not confirmed.”
Gwar just released their new album “Battle Maximus” and are championing this petition to allow them to play at the 2015 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
