The Acacia Strain will enter Planet Z Studios in Hadley, MA next week to begin recording their new album with producer Zeuss (Shadows Fall, Hatebreed). The group wrote and will record the entire outing with eight string guitars and will begin posting footage from the studio online in the coming weeks.
For now, band vocalist Vincent Bennett commented on the effort with the following:
“It’s been a long time coming. It’s going to be hard to follow ‘Continent,’ but I’m confident that everyone will be as pleased with this record as we are. With this album we’re not trying to reinvent the wheel, per say, but prove ourselves viable in today’s music scene.”
He further went on to state:
“This is not the heaviest record EVER written, but it IS the heaviest ACACIA STRAIN record to date.”
