Nine Inch Nails nucleus Trent Reznor was none too happy with the organizers of England’s annual ‘Reading Festival‘ this year. Reznor took to his Twitter to vent with the following two tweets regarding his alleged treatment by the festival this past weekend:
“Should be an unusual show tonight at Reading…”
“…the lying promoter and the band following us (whoever the fuck they are) fucked us on our production.”
The band in question who followed the band onstage were Biffy Clyro. The festival’s organizer Melvin Benn has since told the press:
“The truth is there’s no truth in the statement. The contract hasn’t changed since they signed up to it.”
Despite the situation, Nine Inch Nails still turned in a fifteen song set at the festival last night, August 25th. Next week will bring with it the September 03rd release of Nine Inch Nails‘ new album “Hesitation Marks” on Columbia Records.
