The Melvins cut their set short at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC this past Monday, August 19th. The group walked off-stage after band guitarist/vocalist Buzz “King Buzzo” Osborne was hit by a bottle thrown by an audience member.
Fan-filmed footage of the incident has emerged below with the bottle being thrown at around 35 seconds in. After being hit by the bottle, Buzzo put down his guitar telling the crowd, “fuck you guys, fuck you guys” and then walked off-stage. According to fan reports, the group then had their gear broken down and proceeded to leave the venue.
