Miss May I will enter the studio on August 14th to begin recording their new album for Rise Records. Producer Terry Date (Pantera, Deftones) has been locked down for the sessions. Colin Richardson (Machine Head, Slipknot) will be mixing the outing, which is expected to arrive in the spring of next year.
The bands bassist Ryan Neff said of the coming time in the studio:
“Miss May I has been a wild ride for all of us since the beginning. From starting out in a basement in a small Ohio town, listening to our favorite bands, and just trying to play shows, all the way up to now, about to record our fourth full length album. As a long time fan, I am ecstatic to announce that we will be working with Terry Date on our next record. Growing up jamming Deftones, White Zombie, and Pantera, it’s a dream come true to be working with the man who helped capture some of their greatest work. As if that wasn’t amazing enough, we have Colin Richardson in to mix the record who is also a legend in the metal world. So you can all expect some heavy riffage coming your way next year!”
This fall will find the outfit on the road alongside Five Finger Death Punch, Escape The Fate and more. Dates for that can be found here.
