UTSanDiego.com has acquired court documents related to Meggan Lambesis‘ divorce from As I Lay Dying, etc. vocalist Tim Lambesis, which she filed for this past September. According to the article she alleged that his behavior had changed in ways “that concern me regarding his ability to care for our three children.”
She further stated: “he has become obsessed with bodybuilding and spends a great deal of time lifting weights, hanging out in the gym, and being unavailable to the children.”
She also said Tim had fallen asleep while supervising the children at the beach or near the pool, and would ignore them while texting or talking on the phone.
The article further summarizes the documents, by saying:
“….She said that Lambesis was away on concert tours about six months a year, had twice visited his then-girlfriend in Florida, and was staying at his parents’ Del Mar Country Club home. She said he spent thousands of dollars on tattoos for himself last year and purchased high-end vehicles.”
She provided a 2010 tax return that showed their gross income to be $233,000 as part of the proceedings. The couple are said to have sought joint custody of their three adopted children with mediation for visitation terms.
As previously reported, Lambesis was arrested in relation to an alleged murder-for-hire plot targeting his ex-wife on Tuesday, May 07th. He is due in court this afternoon to be arraigned on charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit a crime.
