Former The Mars Volta/At The Drive-In vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala is getting serious with his new project. According to a tweet he made earlier today:
“So this solo thing I was working on went from a solo record to turning into a band. I’ll announce the name and other news soon.”
Bixler-Zavala had been working with Jonny Polonsky on guitars/keys/lap steel, etc.; Juan Alderete (ex-The Mars Volta) on bass and Gregory Rogove on drums on the project. No word yet on whether or not they will be involved with the project outside of their studio roles.
