Funeral For A Friend have postponed/cancelled their immediate UK and European touring plans as a result of illness. The band said of the situation:
“Hey Everyone, so it’s with heavy hearts that we have to announce that we are going to have to cancel/reschedule the shows we had planned for next week. As some of you may know, Matt was taken ill last week and is still unwell. He visited his GP who’s insisted he rest and does not go ahead with the dates next week. We’re gutted to have to announce this, but it’s simply not going to be possible to do the shows.
The UK dates are being rescheduled for later in the year (more details in the next 24 hours, and tickets will still remain valid), the EU dates will have to be cancelled however. Once again, we are truly sorry as we’ve been looking forward to this run and are gutted to not be able to go ahead with it. Much love, FFAF.”
In light of the health issues the groups February 28th-March 03rd UK shows will be rescheduled. Their March 05th to March 13th European shows on the other hand have been cancelled cancelled.
