Your Demise‘s show at the O2 Academy in Newcastle, UK yesterday, February 20th, was cut short by the venue staff. The show was apparently shutdown amid security concerns involving crowd surfing, etc.. The band themselves look to have also been unhappy with the way security was conducting themselves during the set.
Police were allegedly called to disperse the crowd outside of the venue. Fan-filmed footage of the show being unceremoniously shutdown mid-song can be found below.
The band themselves later tweeted of the incident:
“Right or wrong, there is no way we will let our fans/friends be man-handled by someone who could of handled the situation miles better”
