Guitarist Jona Weinhofen took to his Twitter earlier today (January 14th) to speak on his departure from Bring Me The Horizon. You can find the two new tweets he made about the situation below.
Meanwhile, a statement from Weinhofen that alleged he had quit the band began circulating earlier today following the news of his departure. As it turns out, that statement was in fact a prank he had played some months prior to this latest development.
The newly-posted tweets on his split with the band include:
“I am no longer a member of @bmthofficial, however I can not yet comment on the reasons why or who made the decision.”
“I would also like to say thank you for all the love and support from my amazing fans! Hopefully you’ll all keep supporting me in future”
