The Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman had much to say of his current projects with Metalinjection.net. According to the man himself, The Dillinger Escape Plan are heading into the studio this coming Monday, November 05th. The group will be making the trip to begin tracking their new album. Producer Steve Evetts (Every Time I Die, Poison The Well) will once again behind the boards with an April release date being mapped out for the effort.
Furthermore, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra—his side project with members of Mastodon and alumni of Jane’s Addiction & The Mars Volta—hope to finish up work on their debut bow in January/February. As it currently sits the outing is around halfway done.
The interview, which begins around 10:30 in, also finds Weinman discussing his upcoming collaboration with Wyclef Jean. On that he stated that he created a beat for an upcoming track and is also working on a guitar solo for it.
