Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has officially announced his new comic miniseries. As expected the four issue series will flesh out the concept behind the groups forthcoming separately released double album, “House Of Gold & Bones“.
The first issue will arrive through Dark Horse Comics on April 17th, 2013. Taylor recently spoke with Usatoday.com about the venture, stating:
“It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, I’ve always been very critical of when comics go south and basically pull the fan out of what the potential is. It’s me pretty much putting my money where my mouth is.”
The aforementioned feature shares some insight behind the concept and the characters that inhabit the story, Taylor‘s action figure collecting hobby and more. The first half of “House Of Gold & Bones” is set for an October 22nd release date via Roadrunner Records.
