Thousands of illegal downloader’s of Lacuna Coil‘s “Dark Adrenaline” and Iced Earth‘s “Dystopia” are among those targetted in a new wave of copyright infringement lawsuits filed on behalf of Century Media Records.
The lawsuits were filed earlier this summer in New Jersey by Hackensack, NJ-based attorney Jay R. McDaniel. They appear to be going after BitTorrent users across the United States who shared the aforementioned albums. More details on the proceedings can be found over at Northjersey.com (via Metal Sucks).
Some of you may recall that similar lawsuits involving Century Media-affiliated artist All Shall Perish were recently voluntarily dismissed after outcry from the band themselves.
