Armed For Apocalypse are in the market for a new label home. The group took to their Facebook to issue the following statement on that and the status of their new album “The Road Will End“:
“Hi people!
Since everyone has been so patient waiting for our new album we feel it is only fair to be totally open and transparent with you so you don’t think we are just dragging our feet, being lazy, or that we think we are rock stars and it should take a year to build things up before our record comes out.Our new album “The Road Will End” is done. It’s mixed and ready to go. We can’t even comprehend how proud we are. It is an absolute beast. There are SO MANY RIFFS!! Plus the recording sounds massive. We just got the artwork back from one of our favorite people who happens to be one of the most incredible artists out there, Richey Beckett of Shaped By Fate, and it blew away our expectations. That guy is a genius.
So what’s left? Just put the damn thing out, right?!
Well that’s what we want. There is only one hang up, and it’s kind of a big one: we technically don’t have a label right now. No, nothing bad has happened with Iron Clad or SOAR – they are both awesome and have helped us out in a million ways. But those deals were essentially for one record, which leaves us as free agents. So it may end up that we still put the record out on Iron Clad in the U.S. and SOAR in Europe, but right now we are open to any and all options.
We are searching for our home, but since we don’t have management or representation (we have always handled everything ourselves) it is a much slower process for us. So we are going to keep searching, but in the meantime if there are any interested people out there that are in the position to put out a heavy metal record hit us up here, or email me personally at [email protected].
