Megadeth‘s Dave Mustaine has personally overseen the coming 20th anniversary edition re-release of the bands 1992 album, “Countdown To Extinction“. The set will be packaged in a 2-CD lifttop box and feature a remastered version of the album complete with an entire live show the band played at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA back in 1992.
The live audio has also been newly remixed for the release. Revised liner notes, a poster and four postcards will also be included with the set. It will arrive in stores on November 06th through Capitol/EMI. No bonus tracks will grace the album itself.
However, the track listing for the additional bonus live disc can be found below along with dates for the bands coming North American “Countdown To Extinction” anniversary tour. That trek will see the band perform the album in full and feature support from Kyng.
