Godsmack vocalist Sully Erna recently earned bonus points for being classy enough to chastise security for manhandling an audience member onstage. The below fan-filmed footage shows the fan take to the stage and put a hat on Erna mid-song, only to be tackled by security for his actions.
The incident took place during the bands August 31st set “Rockstar Uproar Festival” set in Burgettstown, PA. The aforementioned excessive force used by the venue security caused Erna to stop the song and instruct security to let him go. Lucky for the fan it wasn’t Fred Durst‘s hat.
