Stone Sour are set to film a music video for their song “Gone Sovereign” in their hometown of Des Moines, Iowa late this month. The group will shoot the clip on Wednesday, September 26th, with director Paul Brown (Slipknot, Chevelle).
Band frontman Corey Taylor had the following to say of the shoot:
“Members of The Dead Generation and beyond-The time to build the House of Gold and Bones is here! We are preparing for the first 2 videos, and for the Gone Sovereign video, we need YOU. So we are putting out a fan casting call to ANYONE who can be in Des Moines, Iowa on September 26th.
Food will be provided, but you gotta buy your own gas. We want this to be the biggest video we’ve ever shot. So bring your ass!! More details will come from our Facebook pages and from Twitter as the time gets closer. So get ready to be a part of history! Get ready to be a stone in the House of Gold and Bones.”
The first half of “House Of Gold And Bones” is due to arrive in stores on October 23rd through Roadrunner. The second half of the separately released double album is expected to surface in May.
