Stone Sour guitarist Josh Rand recently took the time to comment on what you can expect from the groups forthcoming separately-released double album, “House Of Gold And Bones“.
Speaking on the set, he offered:
“House of Gold & Bones takes everything that’s great about this band and amplifies it. The riffs, the lyrics, the grooves and the songs are like Stone Sour times 10. There’s also heavy stuff that’s like nothing we’ve ever done before . It’s dark as hell and a complete experience from the first track to the last.”
24 tracks in total were recorded for the albums with eleven presently confirmed to appear on “House Of Gold And Bones: Part 1“. That first installment of the conceptually linked outings will hit stores on October 23rd via Roadrunner Records.
It’s follow-up, “House Of Gold And Bones: Part 2“, should arrive in stores in May of next year. As previously reported, a four-issue series of comics is being planned in conjunction with the albums.
The group will also be touring globally in support of the albums with exact details soon to be revealed.
