Machine Head have officially been added to this years upcoming “Knoftest” performances. The group will serve as one of the two replacement acts for the slots recently vacated by Lamb Of God and Dethklok.
According to the festival’s organizers:
“The mighty Machine Head has been tapped as one of the artists to replace the cancellation of Lamb Of God and Dethklok. We are very excited that Machine Head is rushing back from Europe to play Knotfest. They will perform at both the Iowa and Somerset/Minneapolis knotfest shows.
We expect to announce another artist in the next day or two.”
This years “Knotfest” will feature performances from Slipknot, Deftones, Serj Tankian, Prong, The Urge and more. Two seperate events with differing bills will take place as follows:
08/17 Pacific Junction, IA – Mid America Motorplex
08/18 Somerset, WI – Somerset Amphitheater
