As I Lay Dying guitarist Phil Sgrosso took the bands recent eyebrow-raising casting call for 100 athletic men in stride. The band recently put out a casting call for the specific extras to appear in tomorrow’s (June 27th) video shoot for the bands new single, “A Greater Foundation“.
Sgrosso himself has since taken to his Instragram with the following quip:
“I wanted dudes with beer bellies and back hair but my idea got shot down.”
As I Lay Dying will release their new album “Awakened” on September 25th through Metal Blade Records. Their new album track “Cauterize” saw a release through digital retailers today, June 26th.
