Meshuggah‘s Jens Kidman and Tomas Haake recently took part in a livestreamed fan Q&A event. During the event they revealed that a video for an unspecified track from their new album “Koloss” will soon be shot.
In addition to that, they also confirmed that a North American tour with Decapitated and Baroness will kick off in May. Commenting on the trek, they offered:
“We’re doing a tour in May with Decapitated and Baroness being with us on that tour. So, uh, keep your eyes peeled for that. That tour, the dates will be posted shorlty within the next few days if it’s not on sale yet.”
A fall North American tour in October/November is also tentatively in the works. That segment of the Q&A takes place at about 31:40 in, with the full session available at Ustream.tv. “Koloss” will see a March 27th release through Nuclear Blast.
