Volbeat have enlisted the services of Mercyful Fate‘s Hank Shermann for their slot on the “Gigantour“. Shermann will be temporarily filling the vacancy left by Thomas Bredahl, who exited Volbeat in November. Speaking on Shermann‘s addition Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen stated:
“It’s a true honor getting to work with Hank, whose guitar work has inspired all three band members long before Volbeat was formed. I’m very thankful that Hank has the time to join us on Gigantour in his busy schedule”
