It’s being widely reported that members of Decapitated were aboard the Boeing 767 which made an emergency landing without landing gear in Warsaw, Poland earlier this week. The flight departed from Newark, NJ and was carrying the band back from their recent North American tour. While no one was apparently seriously injured in the crash landing, footage of which can be found below, the band have had to cancel some upcoming shows.
To that end they offered the following statement:
“We are extremely sorry to inform our fans, that due to unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control, we will unfortunately have to cancel our shows in Aalborg (Aalborg Metal Festival) and Leeds (Damnation Festival).”
