Mogwai have postponed their immediate U.S. touring plans due to “medical reasons”. The group have since released the following two statements via their Facebook regarding the cancellations:
“It is with the utmost regret that for medical reasons we have to postpone our American shows this week and cancel the I’ll Be Your Mirror performance. We will announce new dates as soon as possible and apologise for the last minute nature of this announcement.

“To follow on from yesterdays rush announcement, we would like to take this opportunity to apologise further for the postponements for what was to be the upcoming USA dates.
We understand your frustrations at these shows being cancelled and know that it is made worse by the fact that they were already re-arranged shows. We can only apologise again to everyone who had bought tickets, been patient and potentially had expensive travel plans/days off work etc…
We hope you can understand that we cannot take a gamble with any of our band members health and we cannot legislate for these things happening at the last minute.
