Latin nü-metal outfit Ill Niño have announced the postponement of their Latin American tour celebrating 25 years of their debut album, “Revolution Revolución“. Instead, the band now plan to work on their long-awaited new studio album. A statement shared by the group yesterday, November 06th, on the matter, indicated they are aiming to have that follow-up to 2014’s “Till Death, La Familia” out in February. Here’s what they said:
“We are very sorry to inform everyone that we will have to postpone the LATM tour to May 2027. The 2 bands we bring with us for the new dates, are very strong Nu-Metal groups!! All tickets purchased will be valid for the new dates.
ILL NIÑO hasn’t released a new album in many years and we want to focus on finishing the album completely and releasing February 2027, and promoting it next year with a world tour.
May 2027:
Friday, 21st – Lima, PER
Saturday, 22nd – Santiago, CH
Domingo, 23 – B. Aires, ARG
Martes, 25 – Asunción, PARWe will see ourselves stronger than ever in 2027. Thank you for the support.”
Ill Niño previously indicated they began tracking that effort back in the summer of 2025, after having apparently scrapped their ill-fated “IllMortals” EP series, which failed to to materialize after a messy falling out with then vocalist Marcos Leal. The band have since enlisted Tommy Roulette as their frontman.
