A clip from the upcoming 10th anniversary edition of ‘Desert Age: A Rock And Roll Scene History‘ has newly one up online, showcasing a look at the early days of Kyuss, complete with commentary from the players involved.
That anniversary version of film is scheduled to be made available for free via the website of director Jason Georgiades, jgeorgiades.com, on November 20th. Originally funded via an IndieGoGo campaign, the original distribution deal for the film has since lapsed, leading to this upcoming re-release. It has since been expanded with additional footage centered around a 1981 Palm Springs show Black Flag played.
Outside of the digital re-release, a November 07th screening has been scheduled at Festival Theaters in Palm Springs, CA. Georgiades will be in attendance, as will Kyuss alumni Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork, Yawning Man‘s Mario Lalli and more. That collective will be taking part in a Q&A. For tickets, head to Eventbrite.
