Korn's "Blind" Shows Up In U.S. Department Of Homeland Security's Social Media Post Aimed At Migrant Caravan

The music of nü-metal pioneers Korn has once again found itself politicized by the current U.S administration. Per Lambgoat, the official social media account of the Department Of Homeland Security has posted the below video response of a hype reel featuring ex-Philadelphia Eagles safety Brian Dawkins set to Korn‘s early breakthrough track “Blind“. That clip was posted in response to a post about a ‘huge migrant caravan headed towards the US southern border.’ The DHS captioned their video response, “Our Time has come.”

Last November saw a similar situation unfold, when another of Korn‘s early 90s tracks, “Shoots And Ladders“, soundtracked a video posted by then U.S. Border Patrol head Gregory K. Bovino. Korn do not appear to have publicly commented upon, nor made any public endorsed of the usage of their music in such a fashion.
