Platinum-certified industrial rockers Orgy announced yesterday, September 20th, that they were forced to vacate the opening duties of the final stop(s) of this year’s ‘Freaks On Parade Tour‘. That trek was co-headlined by industrial metal icon Rob Zombie and shock rocker Marilyn Manson, with Mongolian folk metal outfit The HU as direct support.
A statement issued by Orgy vocalist Jay Gordon yesterday read as follows:
“I want to let everyone know that Orgy has made the difficult decision to step away from the remaining dates of the RZ/MM tour. Circumstances arose that made continuing no longer workable for us, and although I’m not able to discuss the details, this was not a decision we made lightly.
I’m grateful to everyone who supported us and came out to the shows. We have tremendous respect for the all the bands, fans, musicians, and hardworking crews involved, and we look forward to sharing what’s next for Orgy very soon via new music and shows.
See ya on the 26th!”
