Aussie metalcore group Mirrors have signed with Greyscale Records for their approaching sophomore album, “The Red Sky“. A November 27th release date has newly been set for that. That record finds the band exploring the impact of life-altering moments, as they collectively explained:
“In different times in everyone’s lives, we all experience these moments. Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, an individual who breaks us down or a literal force of nature that leaves us wondering what we have left. However, these moments also present the opportunity to grow, discover something new and build something to withstand the next storm.”
“Devil’s Due” opens that record and is now available to stream below via its Colin Jeffs (Northlane, To The Grave) directed music video. A press release said this track, ‘confronts the figure that pushes us towards self destruction. That figure can manifest as someone in our lives whose influence brings out the worst in us, or as an internal voice that takes control and pulls us further from the person we want to be. ‘Devil’s Due‘ is about recognising what, or who, needs to be cast aside in order to become better for ourselves and the people around us.’
