The Dream Theater and Periphery love-in will apparently continue early next year with the bands set to tour Europe and the UK together. Speaking on the tour, Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci offered:
“I couldn’t be more excited about our upcoming winter 2012 European tour. It was great getting our feet wet this past summer with our new drummer Mike Mangini during the open air festival season, but now it’s time for the real deal! “A Dramatic Tour Of Events” promises to be our best ever, as we’ll present a broad coverage of songs from the new album along with a healthy dose of older material as well.
Our newly expanded light and video show as well as our awesome opening band, Periphery will make this a truly special and memorable tour. Can’t wait to see and play for all of our amazing European fans!”
