Melodic metalcore outfit Wage War‘s brand new single “Sweet Dreams” went up online tonight, August 13th. This song, which thus far has emerged on its own following the band’s “IT CALLS ME BY NAME” EP this past spring, comes paired with a music video directed by Errick Easterday (Mastodon, Boundaries). The band said of the track:
“‘Sweet Dreams‘ is a song about being deceived by the world around you. About safety in a sense of blissful ignorance. Sonically, it draws inspiration from all of our previous work over the last 10 years.”
A fall headlining tour from the band is in the cards with We Came As Romans, Varials and Cane Hill booked as openers. That trek has been christened the ‘Emergency Broadcast Tour, which this very video ties into. Dates for that tour include:
