Ice Nine Kills will be scoring the upcoming ‘Terror Tram Starring Art The Clown‘ attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. The melodic metalcore band will be reworking Christmas classics for this latest pairing with the ‘Terrifier‘ horror movie franchise, which will be a part of this year’s ‘Halloween Horror Nights‘ event.
Halloween Horror Nights will be running select nights from September 03rd through to November 01st. A press release said of what fans can expect:
“The infamous Terror Tram returns with all-new host, Art the Clown in ‘Terror Tram starring Art the Clown.’ When the demented killer arrives at the historic Universal backlot with his blood-soaked bag of presents, he realizes it is too early for Christmas and hijacks the tram for his own holiday celebration.
Ice Nine Kills will create new music for the experience, putting a dark twist on classic Christmas songs. In addition, guests who think they escaped Art’s chaos on the backlot may find themselves encountering him throughout the theme park as he lurks in the most unsuspecting of places.”
Ice Nine Kills vocalist Spencer Charnas said of once again getting to work with the Terrifier franchise:
“We are forever honored that Terrifier writer/director Damien Leone and his team invited us to play in their sandbox of bloodshed. Art himself, David Howard Thornton, killed it in the ‘A Work of Art’ music video, and we’ve had Damien and several of his cast members at our Silver Scream Cons every year so far. Halloween Horror Nights is among our favorite destinations each season, and our fans love it, too. This is yet another natural step forward in our unnatural world of horror.”
Ice Nine Kills Previously penned the song “A Work Of Art” for the third movie in the ‘Terrifier‘ franchise and have hosted numerous onstage appearances of characters from the film series.
