Sleep Token‘s third studio album, 2023’s “Take Me Back To Eden“, has newly been certified platinum by the RIAA. That distinction has been awarded for exceeding 1 million album-equivalent units in the United States. It has become the band’s first album to hit that high mark in the states, with their latest “Even In Arcadia“, going gold in the U.S. this past January. Thus far, the British masked alternative metal outfit have scored a pair of platinum singles in the U.S., including the second single from “Take Me Back To Eden“, “The Summoning” and the more recent track “Caramel“.

Previous gold-certified singles from the band in the United States include “Dangerous“, “Emergence” and “Damocles“, all of which appear on “Even In Arcadia“. While yet another win for the band, “Take Me Back To Eden” also represents the first album on their former label home of Spinefarm Records to go platinum in the U.S. as well.

*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
