Baltimore deathgrinders Misery Index have delivered a lyric video for their first new single in some four years, “Feral Future“. The band, who re-signed with Season Of Mist earlier this year, have rolled out this new track just ahead of their upcoming European/UK summer tour. Bassist/vocalist Jason Netherton stated of it:
“‘Feral Future‘ is about changing the way we think about our relationship with nature. Nature isn’t something we rule over or exist outside of. It’s something we are immersed in everywhere all the time. This song champions the rewilding of damaged and corrupted human spaces and reclaims a more feral connection that respects the sublime wonder of nature.”
This song was one of the first the group penned for their upcoming eighth studio album, details for which remain guarded for now. Look for the group on the road in the coming weeks at the following shows:
