Veteran alternative rockers Queens Of The Stone Age have premiered their newest single “Easy Street“. In what is more traditionally an uncommon move these days, the band first debuted this new track live last October in Chicago, IL, and have since went on to play it roughly two dozen times since before finally putting out the studio version today, July 14th.

The below music video for the track was co-directed by Christopher Gruse and The Armed/Genghis Tron vocalist Tony Wolski. Outside of the diverse assortment of characters featured (including a juggalo), eagle-eyed fans may also notice a cameo from actor/comedian Diedrich Bader.

The track itself features guest vocals from country musician Nikki Lane. Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme commented:

“It’s kind of a funny song. It’s like hitting your funny bone, where it’s funny because it hurts and it hurts because it’s funny. You’re serious, but it’s funny. We made it the way you’d make a demo. No click track, mistakes left in. It speeds up, it slows down, the claps aren’t great, but they’re not bad, and a bad clap adds this human thing you can’t fake.”

“It’s not just about silliness. It’s about understanding the imperfection of your life. The song, like your life, is in the mistakes. Its imperfections are unbeatable.”
