Australian deathcore group A Night In Texas will have their fifth full-length album “The Darkest Side Of Humanity“, out on September 04th through Unique Leader Records. A press release goes on to describe this outing as the band’s ‘darkest and most extreme release to date.’
Their own Cory Judd took on the production duties, while Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, Despised Icon) handled the mixing and mastering. You can get a feel for what they have concocted for this record via the below music video for the first single, “Metastatic Misery“. The band said of it:
“‘Metastatic Misery‘ is a scathing critique of the commercialization of disease and the industries that profit from human suffering. Centered around cancer and the devastating realities faced by those diagnosed, the track explores a world where treatment becomes a commodity and profit is often perceived to outweigh compassion. Through themes of exploitation, desperation, and systemic failure, the song questions the morality of turning humanity’s most vulnerable moments into a source of financial gain.”
A pair of guests will be joining the group on this record, including Ryan Vail of Synestia/Larcenia Roe fame and Rheese Peters of Babirusa.
