Five Finger Death Punch have earned another industry accolade to add to their growing pile. The already highly decorated alternative metal band have taken home some new hardware for their eighth studio album “F8“. That certification was handed down by the RIAA on July 02nd. Last month saw the band rack up a pair of gold singles, including one for “Darkness Settles In“, which was launched as the fourth and final single from “F8“. Five Finger Death Punch currently have a September release set for their new album “Legacy“.
*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
