A Kiss Before Dying, etc. guitarist Brodie Climer suffered a substantial injury on tour, forcing the metalcore band to drop off their tour. According to a post shared by A Kiss Before Dying this past Sunday, June 28th, the injury in question occurred while Climer was moshing in the audience during Gasket‘s June 27th set in Toledo, Ohio. That post read:
“Our guitarist brodie is straight STUPID and got hit in the head during Gasket last night during epic breakdown.
He has 3 fractures in his face, a black eye, and needs plastic surgery pretty relatively immediately
We are unable to rip the last 4 shows of this tour, hoping to pick back up in about a week and a half with even more scene”
In light of the extent of the injury, the band have now launched this benefit shirt to assist with the expected medical bills. Gasket have also launched this benefit shirt of their own. The latter stated of Climer‘s injury:
“A MEMBER OF THE GASKET DANCE TEAM @BRODIEGUY_ UNFORTUNATELY GOT HIS FACE FUCKED UP CRAZY STYLE WHILE MOSHING TO OUR SET IN TOLEDO OHIO LAST WEEK
HIS BAND @AKISSBEFOREDYING_ HAD TO CANCEL THE REST OF THE TOUR THEY WERE ON AND NOW HE NEEDS SURGERY TO UNFUCK HIS FACE
