Queens Of The Stone Age began their European tour last night, June 29th, with a show at the Strawberry Arena in Solna, Sweden. The gold-certified alternative rock group are currently out as direct support to nü-metal titans System Of A Down, with reunited sludge metallers Acid Bath opening.
Queens Of The Stone Age delivered a 12-song set during that show, which included the return of “Run, Pig, Run” from their fifth studio album “Era Vulgaris“. That track was last played live back in 2008. Also making a reappearance on the setlist from “Era Vulgaris” during last night’s concert was the track “The Fun Machine Took A Shit And Died“. That song’s last live performance transpired back in 2014. Fan-filmed footage of both songs from last night’s show can be seen below.
