Melodic metalcore outfit O.N.I. (formerly known as Oni) have released a new single by the name of “Haunted“. This latest track features production by former Bring Me The Horizon keyboardist, etc. Jordan Fish. It’s also the first single to hit the net from an upcoming debut album O.N.I. has planned for a January 2027 release. That group’s mastermind Jake Oni said of this track:
“This song is a really personal one for me. When I was a kid, I lost my dad to cancer, and that kind of loss never really leaves you. It follows you in ways you don’t always understand until much later.
For a long time, music has been the only way I’ve known how to turn pain into something useful — something that might reach somebody else who needs it.
So for this new era of O.N.I, I wanted to start with something honest. No hiding. No pretending. Just a song about grief, memory, and the things we carry with us. Whatever you’re facing, I hope this reminds you that you’re not alone.”
